The Elkins Public Library is hiring a part-time Circulation Clerk

Requirements of the Position

Salary: This is a part-time minimum wage position

Hours: Monday – Friday 3pm – 5pm totaling 10 hours/week

Minimum Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age or older

Preferred Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED

Job Duties:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver stairs

• Check materials in and out

• Make change

• Reshelf materials

• Familiar with e-readers and e-books/e-audiobooks

• Greet patrons and help with any questions

• Willingness to learn and desire to help others

• Help maintain a clean and inviting atmosphere for patrons and staff
